My Introduction

     I'm Nayana Bell, a 16 year old junior in high school. I have 2 brothers and they're both younger than me, so I'm the only girl. I'd like to describe myself as a fun and loving person who's always there for a helping hand when needed. I played soccer my sophomore year of high school and it helped me a lot when it came to meeting new people since I just moved at the time. I'm usually a quiet person when people first meet me, but I usually warm up and become more vocal over time.

    I love to read and write on my free-time along with listening to music. Baking and cooking is something I do often when I'm bored and I play video games most of the time because I'm surrounded by boys that play video games. Occasionally I do draw but I don't really have to time to do it anymore since I have so much stuff to do nowadays. Exercising everyday helps me stay active and stress free.

    My expectations for this school year is finish off the year with mostly A's and a few B's. It's a little bit more challenging because I'm doing school online due to the pandemic, but my goal is to get all my work done early and not procrastinate so I can stay on top of all my work and head to my final year of high school.

      Took my math exam today, wasn't great compared to the last exams I took. Wasn't very happy about it, but once I leave the testing site and see we have a whole project and presentation we have to do for our final. Not very happy about that either. It's only this class that we don't have a break after the exam. My other teachers are nice and understanding(not saying my ap lit teacher isn't) just giving us fun things to do and simple finals. Not a whole presentations. Yeah yeah we're still in school for 2 more weeks, so we still have to do work, but I thought we were going to do fun simple assignments. It sucks, but if it's the ticket to summer vacation then I'm going to get it done.

Reflection 3/19

    I'm glad there wasn't much for us to do today. Plus it's Friday, it's the end of the week and at that point I'm just ready to get out of school. My only problem with today is the direction explaining. At first it was explained one way, but when we do it wrong there's a problem. Should've been made clear the first time, we're all not mind readers. Especially when some of us are doing school virtually.

Rhetoric of Place

      I learned in class that there are 4 different things that define rhetoric of place.1.) The place of then symbolizes something. 2.) The place often has a history. 3.) The place communicates something. 4.) It is often a place that can stand om its own. You can use these 4 steps for practically anything. Today was shorter than others because it's Friday and I had such a stressful week. I hope next week is easier.
