4/16

     I just don't think today was the day for me comprehension wise. I'm really questioning myself after the pop quiz. I was paying attention during class and took notes on understatement, litotes, antithesis, hypophora, and rhetorical question, but something about the quiz threw me off. I read everything word for word and I took my time. I don't know if it was because there's 5 questions and 5 devices that I thought each one had to be at least one of the devices, so everything that was in my head just flew out of it. Now this is going to linger in my head for the rest of the day and possibly the weekend on how this is going to affect my grade.

    Rest easy! The quiz was worth only 50 points, and it won't have much of an affect on your grade! Enjoy your weekend.

    The test wasn't too hard for me, but a few of the devices were a bit weird trying to understand.

      Took my math exam today, wasn't great compared to the last exams I took. Wasn't very happy about it, but once I leave the testing site and see we have a whole project and presentation we have to do for our final. Not very happy about that either. It's only this class that we don't have a break after the exam. My other teachers are nice and understanding(not saying my ap lit teacher isn't) just giving us fun things to do and simple finals. Not a whole presentations. Yeah yeah we're still in school for 2 more weeks, so we still have to do work, but I thought we were going to do fun simple assignments. It sucks, but if it's the ticket to summer vacation then I'm going to get it done.

Reflection 3/19

    I'm glad there wasn't much for us to do today. Plus it's Friday, it's the end of the week and at that point I'm just ready to get out of school. My only problem with today is the direction explaining. At first it was explained one way, but when we do it wrong there's a problem. Should've been made clear the first time, we're all not mind readers. Especially when some of us are doing school virtually.

Rhetoric of Place

      I learned in class that there are 4 different things that define rhetoric of place.1.) The place of then symbolizes something. 2.) The place often has a history. 3.) The place communicates something. 4.) It is often a place that can stand om its own. You can use these 4 steps for practically anything. Today was shorter than others because it's Friday and I had such a stressful week. I hope next week is easier.
